Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Bade LLC (“Bade”, “we”, “us”) collects through badetournaments.com and at our tournaments, why we need it, and what rights you have.

We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described here is Bade LLC, Aghmashenebeli Alley 240, Tbilisi, Georgia. For anything to do with your data, write to info@badesport.com or call +995 596 71 18 18.

What we collect

  • Registration details: the full name and phone number of both players, the email address of the player who registers, the tournament and category chosen, shirt sizes, and the language of the website you used.
  • Payment details: the payment method, the amount, date and status of the payment, and the transaction reference issued by the bank. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered on Bank of Georgia’s payment page — they never reach our systems and we do not store them.
  • Tournament records: draws, scores, standings and results.
  • Photographs and video taken at tournaments.
  • Messages you send us by email, phone or social media.
  • Technical data: when you open the website our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser type, as any web server does, in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Your partner’s data

When you register a partner you give us their name and phone number. Please make sure they know, and agree, before you submit the entry.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To register your team, hold your spot, make the draw and run the tournament — necessary to perform our agreement with you.
  • To take payment, issue your invoice and keep our accounts — necessary to perform the agreement and to comply with tax and accounting law.
  • To send you the confirmation, the schedule and other service messages about a tournament you entered, by email, SMS or phone.
  • To publish draws, results and the hall of fame, and to report on tournaments with photographs and video — our legitimate interest as the organiser of a public sporting competition. You can object at any time.
  • To answer your questions and deal with refund requests.
  • To send you news of future tournaments — only if you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We pass it on only where that is needed to run the website and the tournaments:

  • Bank of Georgia — processes card payments.
  • Supabase — hosts our database of registrations, payment records and invoices.
  • Cloudflare — hosts and protects the website.
  • Resend — delivers our confirmation emails.
  • The club hosting a tournament — where needed to organise check-in and the court schedule.
  • Public authorities — where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Georgia. Where that happens we transfer data only as the law allows — to countries that ensure adequate protection, or under an agreement that provides appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Registration and tournament records — for as long as it takes to run the tournament, and for no more than three years afterwards, so that we can deal with queries and claims.
  • Invoices and payment records — for the period required by the tax and accounting legislation of Georgia.
  • Published results and the hall of fame — kept as part of a tournament’s history, until you ask us to remove your name.
  • Photographs and video — for as long as they are used to present our tournaments, or until you object.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The website keeps a single item in your browser’s local storage — the language you chose — so that it opens in the same language next time.

Cloudflare, which delivers the website, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect it from abuse. The payment page is run by Bank of Georgia and uses the cookies it needs to process a payment securely.

Security

Data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), is stored behind access controls, and is available only to the Bade staff who need it to run tournaments. Card payments are handled entirely by the bank, on its own secure page, which meets the card industry’s security standard (PCI DSS).

Your rights

Under the law of Georgia you have the right to:

  • be told how your data is processed and receive a copy of it;
  • have your data corrected, updated or completed;
  • have the processing of your data stopped, and the data erased or destroyed;
  • have your data blocked;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • have your data transferred to you or to another organisation;
  • complain to the Personal Data Protection Service or to a court.

To use any of these rights, write to info@badesport.com. We reply within 10 working days.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may apply to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (personaldata.ge) or to a court.

Players under 18

Registration is intended for adults. Players under 18 take part with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who gives us the registration details on their behalf.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page, and we tell registered entrants by email about any change that matters.
